At the Galleria Alberto Sordi, an exhibition displaying the winning photos of the competition Wiki Loves Monuments, (the international competition which has the aim of promoting cultural heritage by means of photos), shall be held from the 1st to the 7th November. There shall be 20 photos depicting Italian historical monuments, ten of which were chosen by the panel of judges heading this competition, and another ten representing the “special prizes” of some institutions which have adhered to the initiative of “liberalizing” the monuments falling under their responsibility and thus allowing them to be photographed for the competition.
The travelling exhibition will remain open to the public of the capital of Rome from Monday to Thursday, from 08.30 a.m. to 09.00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 08.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.; Sunday from 09.30 a.m. to 09.00 p.m.. On the 8th November, the exhibition shall be moving from Rome to other Italian cities, which will be welcoming this exposition in highly prestigious contexts.
