The exhibition of the artist Ugo Ferrero concerns a Triptych on the theme of Wisdom, Strength and Beauty.
Beauty and Strength (Aphrodite and Hercules) join together, showing the path to Wisdom. Strength is the ability to build a life project, with determination and patience. However, it must be tempered by Beauty, for not resulting in disorder and confusion.
From the union of Strength and Beauty springs Love, hope of life, birth or re-birth: a new man, who can win the war against the dark side of his soul and can go towards the light of wisdom, which illuminates the mind and the heart.
Ugo Ferrero is an eclectic and original artist who creates forms, representing symbols and concepts, incarnations of nature and harmony, by using the "Raku", noble and ancient clay.
In the "Sala Santa Rita" intimate atmosphere, the Ferrero's sculptures of Wisdom, Strength and Beauty are mounted on rotating bases.
A sophisticated lighting system casts the shadow of these sculptures in the apse. In this way the visitor will be invited to start an evocative and attractive dialogue with the works.
Ugo Ferrero was born in 1955 in Rome, where he lives and works. He has exhibited in several individual and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad.
The exhibition is curated by Giuseppe Ussani d'Escobar and it is organized by Sphaerica.
